About the Job
As a Medical Receptionist, individuals play a crucial role in balancing patient needs and maintaining office efficiency while offering vital support to physicians throughout medical procedures, both before, during, and after. This role is available across Affirmed Healthcare's Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Rochester, and Bethpage clinic locations, with availability required between 7am-8pm and weekends as needed. Responsibilities include greeting patients, escorting them to examination rooms, assisting with form completion, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance eligibility, performing clerical tasks, ensuring patient questions are addressed, maintaining procedure rooms, assisting during procedures, providing post-procedure instructions, monitoring supply levels, training new staff, and assisting ultrasound staff as required. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1-2 years of related experience preferred, Medical Assistant Certification preferred, outstanding customer service skills, strong computer skills, and weekend availability.
