Accounts Payable Specialist (Quickbooks/SAP Concur)
Location : REMOTE
Salary : 70-75K
The Accounts Payable Specialist ( "A/P Specialist ) will report to the Corporate Controller and work with other finance team members. The A/P Specialist will be responsible for full-cycle accounts payable, including processing invoices, facilitating required approvals, reconciling vendor statements, and creating vendor payments.
The A/P Specialist must have strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service in all aspects of the role. The specialist must also be detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This person must be technology savvy. The company is undergoing a migration from Quickbooks to SAP Concur, and any knowledge of Concur would be considered a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with and provide support to the Corporate Controller
- Receive, triage, accurately process and code 30 invoices per day
- Facilitate manager approvals of invoices and expenses and work directly with operations team members to resolve any issues
- Process employee expense reports
- Regularly prepare payments to vendors and other third parties
- Respond to inquiries from vendors or internal stakeholders
- Ensure vendor statements are reconciled on a regular basis
- Build strong relationships with external vendors and MLG management, providing best-in-class customer service to both
- Support ad hoc tasks projects as needed, such as integration of newly acquired businesses
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an A/P capacity
Must have experience with SAP Concur or similar automated A/P and expense management platforms.
Must have a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel).
Experience with QuickBooks would be considered a vital asset.
