Expert for Patient Positioning (f/m/x)

Full-time (38.5 hours per week)

Challenges you conquer:

• Participation in the development of a medical system used for hadron therapy in accordance to ISO 13485
• Supporting the specification, purchasing and installation phases of patient positioning and position verification systems
• Supporting the design of the nozzle of a hadron therapy system

A background that impresses:

• Academic studies (Masters degree or PhD) in physics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or similar
• Experience with medical device development is an advantage
• Experience with patient positioning systems and radiation therapy workflows is desirable
• A strong interest in particle therapy and treatment planning and ideally experience in these areas is an advantage
• Good written and verbal communication in English language
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Proactiveness and ability to work in a team

For the advertised position we offer a gross annual salary from € 46,781 (on a full-time basis) based on the classification in use group 4 of the collective agreement for white-collar workers in the metal industry, with the possibility of overpayment, depending on professional qualifications and experience.
