Do you want to work for the world leader in online retail? Amazon is looking for energetic, and customer oriented Finance Analyst to join the fast paced world of European Financial Operations in Bratislava.
Key job responsibilities
The successful candidate will work in AP operations in cooperation with management, and internal stakeholders to solve vendor's financial disputes in France, Italy or Spain Marketplaces. Working in an international team, you will be performing analysis to determine root-cause of defects and making decisions how to best resolve vendor queries.
You will be in communication with our internationally recognized suppliers, helping to resolve their dispute and identifying ways to prevent future defects.
You will gain exposure to cross functional and process improvement projects and your responsibilities will include:
- Review, investigate and resolve vendor AP claims
- Help to improve current processes
- Look at ways to improve the vendor experience
- Earn the trust of your vendors and internal customers to build lasting relationships
- Take part or lead projects or initiatives
Base pay for this position starts from EUR 1.800 gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements. There will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Basic Qualifications
- Fluent English with of one or more of the following languages: French, Italian or Spanish at a B1 (intermediate level) level. If you are not sure of your language level, we encourage you to apply.
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- Analytical skills with the ability to get into the detail, while also seeing and understanding the bigger picture
- A very self-motivated and flexible working approach
- A passion for working with diverse teams with different cultures on an international team
Preferred Qualifications
- A combination of Business or Finance degree or experience, preferably in AP or AR.
- Other European languages
- MS Excel - Advanced
- SQL
