Business Development Manager – Austria (m/f/x) | Medical Devices | Gastroenterology


In this role, you will be responsible for driving the market presence in Austria for a leading medical-devices company, developing and implementing market strategies, and achieving revenue and profitability targets. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, negotiate agreements, and support sales initiatives through product demonstrations and training in the field of Gastroenterology.



Your tasks as “Business Development Manager – Austria (m/f/x)”?

  • Full responsibility for the marketing and sales activities of the gastroenterology brand in Austria
  • Development and execution of market strategies and brand positioning
  • Achieving revenue and profitability targets in line with budget and long-term planning
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with hospitals, key accounts, and purchasing groups
  • Negotiating framework and pricing agreements
  • Planning and executing sales initiatives according to budget requirements
  • Conducting product demonstrations and training sessions
  • Representing the company at national medical congresses and events
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and reference centers
  • Preparing reports, forecasts, and market analyses to support senior management



Your profile as “Business Development Manager – Austria (m/f/x)”?

  • Completed education in a scientific, medical, or technical field
  • Professional experience in medical device sales (preferably in gastroenterology)
  • Strong sales skills, flexibility, and excellent organizational abilities
  • Open, confident, and persuasive personality with strong presentation skills
  • Team player with a reliable, independent, and results-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • High willingness to travel and residence within the sales territory
  • Proficiency in MS Office and a valid driver’s license (Class B)
  • Business fluency in German – English would be a plus
