Qualified Teachers Wanted for Casual School Holiday Work

Are you a qualified teacher seeking casual work over the Autumn school holidays? Partner with Code Camp to inspire creativity in kids through technology in a unique professional development opportunity.

As one of Australia’s leading school holiday program providers, Code Camp has offered programs in coding, design, YouTube, DJ, Minecraft, and robotics for over a decade. We're now looking for Camp Managers to oversee our camps.

Is this you?

• Excellent at communicating with children (ages 5-12), parents, and staff
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team and delegate tasks
• Tech-savvy
• Quick to learn and adapt to new lesson plan content (provided)
• Available for a minimum of 2-3 consecutive days during school holidays

About the position:

• You will oversee our school holiday camp programs and liaise with parents, students and Code Camp Head Office
• Coordinate and support staff including rostering breaks and playground supervision
• At smaller camp venues, you will teach a class (lesson plan provided)
• Camp Managers are in charge of first aid and ensuring a safe and supportive environment
• Responsible for overseeing venue set-up and sign in/out of students
• Paid training provided as well as ongoing support from our HQ team
• Staff are required to supply their own Laptop and HDMI adapter for personal use
• Each camp location runs for between 2-5 consecutive weekdays (8am - 4pm approx)
• Ongoing work available in future school holiday camp seasons

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Must have a Tertiary Teaching/Education Degree and be registered with relevant Australian teaching organisation
• First Aid certification (including asthma, anaphylaxis and CPR preferred) or willingness to obtain immediately
• Blue Card Exemption
• Prior Coding knowledge is not required for this role
