Job Description: As the Data Analyst for our apparel fashion company, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven strategies.
Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources, including sales transactions, customer demographics, website interactions, and marketing campaigns.
Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the effectiveness of business operations and initiatives.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data to uncover actionable insights and opportunities for optimization.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making, such as pricing strategies, product assortment planning, and marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, e-commerce, and finance, to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
Proactively monitor data quality and integrity, and implement processes and controls to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics and apply them to enhance our data capabilities and analytics infrastructure.
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and compelling presentations, reports, and visualizations.
Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute insights and recommendations based on data analysis and market intelligence.
Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience (X years) in data analysis, preferably in the retail or fashion industry.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, R, or Tableau.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.
Experience working with large datasets and databases, and knowledge of data warehousing concepts and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to think critically and creatively to solve business challenges.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for fashion and a keen interest in understanding consumer behavior and market trends.
