Job Description: As the Data Analyst for our apparel fashion company, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven strategies.


Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources, including sales transactions, customer demographics, website interactions, and marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the effectiveness of business operations and initiatives.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data to uncover actionable insights and opportunities for optimization.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making, such as pricing strategies, product assortment planning, and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, e-commerce, and finance, to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Proactively monitor data quality and integrity, and implement processes and controls to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics and apply them to enhance our data capabilities and analytics infrastructure.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and compelling presentations, reports, and visualizations.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute insights and recommendations based on data analysis and market intelligence.
  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (X years) in data analysis, preferably in the retail or fashion industry.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, R, or Tableau.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.
  • Experience working with large datasets and databases, and knowledge of data warehousing concepts and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to think critically and creatively to solve business challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for fashion and a keen interest in understanding consumer behavior and market trends.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of data analytics.
