What's the role?
We’re on the hunt for a Head of Growth to lead the charge at Day1x—the brand-new crypto exchange brought to life by Fusion Markets. At Day1x, we take our clients' trading experience very seriously and want them to trade with the lowest costs and the least friction. Under stealth development for the past three years, we released Australia's lowest-cost exchange to local clients in June 2024. In the next month or two, we’ll be launching to international clients, developing our app, and so much more. This is where a talented Head of Growth steps in... if you’re excited about leading and growing a new business (within a very successful business!) and have bold ideas and big strategies, we’d love to hear from you!
A bit about us...
At Day1x and Fusion, we have big dreams, know-how, and a high bar for the talent we want on the bus* with us to get there. Yes, finance can be serious stuff, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously (*note: sorry, we don't actually have our own bus). We're in some brand-new digs in South Yarra (Goldfields House), complete with 6-star amenities like two commercial-grade coffee machines, sparkling water taps, an infrared sauna, and enough wine to last three decades (our founder is obsessed; don't get him started!). Day1x and Fusion is a place that cares deeply about our clients' trading experience and how we can improve it, but even more about the people here who help make it all happen.
And who is Fusion Markets? Founded in 2019, Fusion opened its doors to clients worldwide in mid-2019. Every month, tens of thousands of clients trade over $150 billion of volume on our trading platforms worldwide, and the company is growing by triple digits each year. This isn't our first rodeo!
A bit about you...
You're a highly skilled jack-of-all-trades with at least three years of proven ability to document the entire lifecycle of production — from conception through to testing and release. You’re never afraid to get your hands dirty and are comfortable with ambiguity. You’re just as comfortable bringing in new business as you are writing up user stories for the next killer feature. You're half sales/marketing and half product.
You might already be a confident leader working in the crypto or fintech space or a guru guiding cross-functional teams in executing improved client experience initiatives.
As an ideal candidate, you will have had direct experience growing a start-up, with a keen eye for marketing, great ears for listening to clients and teammates, and strong communication skills to translate that feedback into actionable projects for our dev team to execute.
