Mobile Plant Operator

Mumford Farms Pty Ltd is a large stone fruit grower based in Woorinen 3589 VIC. The business has dedicated over 40 years to cultivating high-quality, flavourful stone fruits. Mumford Farms Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time qualified Mobile Plant Operator. The salary offered is $73,150 per annum plus superannuation. Job duties and responsibilities include: • Prepares and positions plant for operation. • Operates tractor-drawn and self-propelled plant to plough land and sow, fertilize, cultivate and harvest crops and avoid damaging crops. • Adjusts speed, height, and depth of implements. • Keeps log tallies and writes work reports. • Services plant and performs minor repairs. The applicants will have the following skills and experience: • Minimum 2 years of experience in agriculture sector. • Relevant tertiary qualifications such as a certificate III in rural machinery operations is preferred. • Have excellent communication and time management skills. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Previous farming or horticulture experience is highly desirable.
