Customer Specialist - Lending
The Customer Specialist - Lending is responsible for Guiding customers through a loan application accurately and efficiently.
Let's look at some key responsibilities:
• Identifying ways to assist our customers such as consolidating their debt and providing a tailored solution for their current and future needs
• Keep in contact with customers throughout their loan process for a seamless experience
• Assess all new card, and Personal loan applications submitted through the retail branch channel and online applications.
• Ensure that all documents are verified accurately and sent to appropriate queues within expected time frames.
• Develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism & integrity adhering to Credit Policy & standards.
• Conduct relevant research to make responsible lending decisions, by contacting employers, other finance companies, and accountants etc. to conform financial information provided
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and relevant legislation/regulations
• Ensure applications are assessed in a timely manner to meet service levels
• Follow call structure and adhere to conversation guidelines and best practice that will contribute to our overall Net Promoter Score (NPS) results.
• Supporting new team members, as appropriate. Support cross training initiatives.
• Work in accordance with Latitude Financial policies and procedures, demonstrating Latitude values and high ethical standards consistent with company value
• Undertake any other duties determined by management e.g. Projects and other duties directed
