ABOUT THE POSITION:
This position plays a key role in managing and preparing digital collection materials for ingestion into Museums Victoria's Digital Asset Management System (DAMS). You will be responsible for identifying, describing, and registering pre-existing digital State Collection items, digital surrogates of analogue audiovisual materials, and ensuring their alignment with digital preservation workflows.
This 12-week fixed-term role will involve collaborating with image management, information technology, and collection management teams to ensure digital assets are properly documented and preserved.

This is a VPS3, full-time or part-time, 12-week fixed-term position. The salary offered is $74,580 base on grade (pro rata) 11.5% superannuation. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Police Records Check.
