Metal Fabricators

Our Client, BOSS Engineering Pty Ltd, is seeking experienced Metal Fabricators to join their team. This role involves the full fabrication process from interpreting drawings to assembling and welding components.

Key Responsibilities:

1. MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminium, and stainless components based on blueprints or drawings
2. Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine fabrication requirements
3. Set up and operate welding and fabrication machines for specific jobs
4. Cut, shape, and assemble parts as directed by the supervisor
5. Follow WHS rules and company policies at all times
6. Keep work area clean, organised, and safe
7. Manually handle materials up to 25kg, or use hoists/forklifts as required
8. Ensure all equipment is kept in clean and safe working condition
9. Report any equipment issues or safety concerns
10. Assist other team members or supervisors as needed

What They’re Looking For:

1. At least 3 years of proven experience in metal fabrication and welding
2. Ability to read and work from technical drawings
3. Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety
4. Physically capable and reliable
5. A proactive, team-oriented attitude
