About The Company

The client is a prominent organization committed to enhancing a vital information management system, seeking experienced .NET developers to support legacy system upgrades, security enhancements, and cloud migration initiatives.


The Role

This role involves upgrading and modernizing critical systems, requiring expertise in .NET 4.8 , .NET 8, AngularJS, and Azure PaaS, with a strong focus on enhancing security, migrating legacy applications, and ensuring compliance with contemporary development standards.


Responsibilities

  • Upgrade and modernize legacy .NET 4.8 applications to .NET 8.
  • Migrate applications from Windows Server 2016 to Azure PaaS.
  • Implement security enhancements in line with Essential 8 compliance.
  • Refactor and uplift legacy AngularJS front-end components.
  • Replace Forms Login with Azure Entra ID and implement AD-based access controls.
  • Split applications into UI (TAS.ad…) and Services (TAS-Services.ad…).
  • Convert Automation Agents to WebJobs and integrate AzureSQL databases.
  • Enhance logging, secrets management, and auditing using Application Insights, KeyVault, and API.Audit services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
  • Document architecture, system designs, and development processes as required by business needs.
Key Experience
  • Proven experience in .NET 4.8 , .NET 8, and AngularJS development.
  • Strong background in modernizing legacy applications and cloud migrations.
  • Experience with Azure PaaS, AzureSQL, WebJobs, and serverless technologies.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps processes.
  • Knowledge of identity management using Azure Entra ID and role-based access controls.
  • Familiarity with API integration, logging frameworks (Log4Net), and security best practices.
