Contracts Administrator - Drive High-Impact Public Sector Projects

TEN Recruitment is seeking a proactive Contracts Administrator to join a well-regarded WA commercial builder with a history of delivering government, education, and public sector projects. With a strong pipeline of secured work, this is an opportunity to play a key role in projects that make a difference in local communities.

Your Role:

• Oversee contract administration across multiple commercial and government projects.
• Ensure all contracts meet regulatory, industry, and project-specific standards.
• Prepare cost forecasts, manage variations, and process extensions of time.
• Work alongside Project Managers and site teams to keep projects on track.
• Assist in tender preparation, reporting, and budget control.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Contribute to safety and compliance measures, including OHS investigations when required.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior contract administrators.

What You’ll Need:

• Qualifications in Construction Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in contracts administration on government or commercial projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
• A background in Quantity Surveying is advantageous.
• Perth-based with full Australian working rights.
