About The Role
Are you a creative visionary with a passion for fashion, branding and storytelling?
We’re looking for a talented Stylist to join our team and help bring stunning visual concepts to life for one of Australia’s biggest brands.
You’ll play a key role in transforming our client’s vision into reality by curating the look and feel of brand campaigns and e-commerce shoots.
Working professionally and collaboratively with our team and clients, you will ensure the look and feel is consistent and on brief. In addition to styling shoots, you may be required and responsible for selecting and sourcing products and wardrobe for talent to compliment features, and body type, on brief and within budget.
You’ll be responsible for
Reporting to the Creative Manager, some (but not all) of the role’s responsibilities include;
- Organises product, wardrobe and outfitting for shoots and events at pace.
- Offer recommendations for visual styling elements on and off set.
- Ensure styling recommendations and execution are consistent in keeping with style guides and directions provided.
- Supports makeup artists and hair stylists in order to develop the entire look/feel for clients.
- Collaborate with clients, maintaining strong working relationships.
Experience, Skills, And Expertise
We are looking for someone who:
- 3 years experience in design, advertising or studio environment.
- High attention to detail.
- Proactive, flexible attitude and willingness to get the job done.
- Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot issues.
- Excellent time management skills and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication, internal and client-facing.
- Ability to work as a team player and autonomously.
- Ability to articulate new styles, designs and products as well as manipulate various fashion techniques (colours, textures etc).
If you were here in the last month you may have:
- Styled clients for the Easter and Mother’s Day campaigns.
- Attended a client shoot on location.
- Provided support to the makeup artist to ensure the entire look was completed for the client.
- Spent time exploring the cool cafes and restaurants in South Melbourne with your colleagues.
