Data Science Intern

We are looking for a motivated Data Scientist intern for a 3-months internship.

You will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better products and services. Your primary focus will be in applying data analytics techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building data driven algorithms together with the team.

You will be directly mentored by an experienced data scientist, while working closely with the full team and reporting weekly to the CTO, CPO and CEO of the company.

Ideal start date: Flexible, after May 2025, preferably until September.

Ideal duration of internship: 3 months.

Your Responsibilities will include:

• Digging into large amounts of mobile apps data to transform it into valuable market insights.
• Applying data analytic techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building data driven algorithms.
• Presenting results in a clear manner to different audiences.
• Define the scope of opportunities and limitations of what the data enables by understanding its value for customers.

• A deep understanding of the technical infrastructure of a SaaS.
• Experience the challenges and the day-to-day operations of a data science team within a scale-up.
• Scope data driven analysis with colleagues from different backgrounds.
• A strong boost in your programming and computer engineering skills.
• Hands-on experience working with SQL databases and REST APIs.
• Exposure to existing projects led by our data science team.
• Guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals in the data science field.

Requirements:

• Scientific, Statistical, or Computer Science background.
• Good communication and presentation skills in English.
• Basic knowledge of Python programming.
• Skills in statistics and Data Sciences techniques.
• Willingness to take full ownership of your project, while working close to the team
• Internship agreement provided by your institution.
• Availability for at least 3 months
