Freelance Test Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Design and define comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed test scenarios and scripts to ensure thorough coverage.
• Execute manual tests across various stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Coordinate testing activities across teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Document and communicate test results, highlighting issues and providing actionable insights for resolution.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Testing
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proven hands-on experience in manual testing across diverse applications.
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, or similar).
• Experience using defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, or similar).
• Competence in test data preparation, with a preference for experience working with SQL databases
