Power Electronics Engineer

B.E.S. (Business & Engineering Solutions) is growing and thus welcoming a new Power Electronics Design Engineer in our automotive team.

As a Power Electronics Design Engineer at B.E.S., you will enjoy a collaborative environment where you will work closely with others in an organisation focused on innovation.

Your responsibilities :

• You analyze grid requirements to help design bi-directional charging systems (initial focus),
• On-Board Charger Development: Lead the creation of a 48V compact OBC unit for new mobility, including design reviews, testing, and coordination,
• Motor Inverter Development: Support the design of a 48V motor inverter as a secondary task,
• General Support: Assist with testing, standards research, and various power electronics projects as needed.,

Your profile

• You have a Master of Science degree in (power) electronics, electrical engineering or mechatronics,
• You have a first experience,
• You work with MS Office, any other software knowledge is a strong asset (Matlab, Simulink, Python, … ).
• Fluent in English,
• You have strong analytical skills, perseverance, autonomy as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
