User Documentation Expert

We currently have a vacancy for a User Documentation Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site.

Your Tasks

• Writing user manuals for information systems;
• Writing information systems on-line help;
• Writing web documentation;
• Prepare and give training courses on information systems
• Translate business analysts input to information consumable by the end-user.;
• Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers
  
  
  

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Experience in writing technical documentation;
• Very good knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, SAFe);
• Very good knowledge of wiki, collaborative sites and social networks;
• Knowledge in end user assistance of information systems;
• Good knowledge of presentation tools (e.g. PowerPoint);
• Good knowledge of MS-Office;
• Excellent command of the English language is required and knowledge of French will be considered an advantage
