Our client, a leader in cutting-edge space infrastructure, is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Systems Engineer to take charge of the electronic systems and subsystems across the entire project lifecycle. This will be a 12 month contract.
The Role:
As an Electronics Systems Engineer, you will be the technical lead for all electronic aspects of the system/subsystem, ensuring seamless delivery from concept to completion. Key responsibilities include:
Customer Requirements & Conceptual Design:
Collaborate with customers to understand their electronic needs, translating high-level requirements into detailed, actionable specifications. Develop and propose innovative electronic concepts.
Technical Leadership & Coordination:
Lead and oversee the work of internal and external electronics design teams. Ensure designs meet technical specifications, adhere to timelines, and stay within budget, while maintaining overall technical coherence.
Design Review & Traceability:
Drive requirement management and traceability. Conduct in-depth reviews of electronic circuits, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Provide expert guidance during technical reviews.
Testing & Handover:
Plan and execute system/subsystem functional and performance tests. Deliver high-quality systems to the client, supported by robust documentation.
The Ideal Candidate:
Our client is looking for a talented professional with the following qualifications:
Educational Background:
Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering.
Experience:
3 years of relevant experience working in the space sector.
