About the role

We are looking for an experienced and independent Senior Consultant to complement our skills and expertise. The Senior Consultant will be engaged on a project basis and will be responsible for providing strategic advice on government relations, conducting research and analysis on political and regulatory processes, and developing advocacy strategies. The role involves client management, preparing reports and presentations, and liaising with stakeholders. The Senior Consultant will also represent clients in interactions with government officials and institutions to advocate for their interests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in government, trade association, in-house or consultancy
• A solid understanding of the Belgium political landscape and European institutions
• ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English. Professional command of Dutch.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a hybrid working environment
• Master's degree in Political Science, International Relations, Law or related field
• Strong research and analytical skills relevant to political and regulatory processes
• Client management and stakeholder engagement skills or willing to learn
• Willing to contribute to grow a booming agency
