Database Administrator

*Freelance* Database Administrator - Brussels

A client of Koda Staff's is looking for a Database Administrator to join their team on a long term freelance mission.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle and SQL Databases. A will be able to bring there expertise and experience to the team.

The client requires you to work 2 days a week on site in the Brussels office and 3 days remote (this can be flexible).

Start Date : July / August (flexible)

I am working directly with the hiring manager on this role so we can expect quick feedback.

Technical Experience :

• Proven DBA experience with a focus on Oracle and SQL Server
• Skilled in query optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Proficient in database design and high availability solutions
• Strong knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, pipelines, and Synapse
• Familiar with cloud technologies, particularly Azure
• Experience with Qlik Sense (a plus)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and best practices for alerting
• Proficient in scripting with Python and PowerShell for automation
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure
• Capable of writing and maintaining technical documentation
