Digital Business Analyst – Energy Transition – AI & Automation

Our client, a leading player in the Belgian energy sector is seeking a Digital Business Analyst to strengthen its transformation team. In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of strategic AI and automation initiatives that support operational excellence and accelerate the transition toward a sustainable energy system.

Your Responsibilities

• Identify business needs across departments that can be addressed with AI or automation.

• Translate complex business problems into clear functional and data requirements.

• Act as Product Owner within Agile teams: manage the backlog, prioritize features, and validate deliverables.

• Create and maintain process and data models to inform tool development and transformation initiatives.

• Coordinate testing activities, including user acceptance and integration testing.

• Support the rollout and adoption of new digital tools and processes.

• Contribute to enterprise data architecture through business-driven data modelling.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in engineering, IT, business, or a related field.

• 5 years of experience as a business analyst, preferably in a complex or regulated environment.

• Proficient in process modelling, requirements gathering, and stakeholder communication.

• Familiar with Agile methodologies and Product Owner responsibilities.

• Knowledge of AI, automation, and enterprise data strategies.

• Fluent in Dutch or French, with working proficiency in English.
