For our client in the FMCG sector, we are looking for a Key Account Manager for retail chains in Belgium. Do you have an analytical mind and good negotiating skills? Then read on!


YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will be a crucial link between customer needs, market trends, and our internal stakeholders. Reporting to the National Account Manager, you will also collaborate closely with the CSP team and global teams like Carrefour Global and Eureca. Your key responsibilities include:


  • Co-manage a €55 million Ice Cream business in Belgium, driving market-leading growth.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term commercial strategies that align with business goals. Partner with Marketing and CSP to drive channel and category growth through innovative activities.
  • Lead channel and customer negotiations, prioritization, and execution plans. Identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities.
  • Deliver financial and non-financial targets. Contribute to budget planning and promotional strategies.
  • Oversee commercial activities and evaluate success through key performance metrics.
  • Understand customer needs, exceed their expectations, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Build strong, profitable partnerships internally and externally, fostering collaboration at every level.


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG.
  • Proven experience in commercial roles, category development, or client relationship management.
  • Experience in price negotiations with retailers
  • Fluency in Dutch, French, and English.
  • A "can-do" mentality with a strong team spirit, fostering entrepreneurship and exclusivity.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Exceptional customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including data-driven decision-making.

  • Proficiency in identifying and driving category growth opportunities.
