IT Support Engineer
Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in Brussels? My client, a highly respected government body known for its commitment to excellence and innovation, is looking for a skilled IT professional to join their team on an initial 1-year contract, with hybrid working arrangements.
Your Role:
As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a key role in providing top-tier technical support, ensuring the smooth operation of IT services, and resolving user issues efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
Incident and problem management – acting as a service desk agent, incident analyst, and problem analyst
First and second-line IT support – offering both remote and on-site assistance
Tracking and documentation – recording incidents, problems, and requests while maintaining operational procedures
System reconfiguration & installations – assisting with PC setups and troubleshooting
Application testing & administration – ensuring systems run smoothly and liaising with administrators
Knowledge sharing – drafting technical content for the internal knowledge base
What We Are Looking For:
Minimum 3 years of IT Support experience
Fluency in English & French (both written and spoken)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Broad IT knowledge and ability to work autonomously
Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications and Windows environments
Understanding of mobile platforms and core mobile applications
ITIL V4 Foundation Certification (or willingness to obtain within the first 3 months)
