Responsibilities
Within Societe Generale Luxembourg, you will help the middle-office Corporate Banking (approx. 20 people) to cope with many challenges:
- Strong business development
- Strong regulatory and fiscal constraints
- Need for process optimization and innovation
- Continuing the digital transition
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Participation in the reflections on the automation of our processing (the implementation of macros, VBA coding or advanced knowledge on new technologies are a plus)
- Continuing actions on the digitization of our processes, participating in the organization of the workflow
- Participation in projects to redesign referential tools (interactions to be planned with our local partners, but also with the Societe Generale Group on the subject)
- Upgrade our control system (continuous monitoring, in-flow control, accounting certification, data quality monitoring)
- Perform controls, and upgrade procedures and procedures
- Upgrading our processes and procedures, particularly in the context of regulatory developments (CRS, FATCA, MiFID, EMIR, GDPR)
- Performing continuous monitoring checks
- Accounting supervision / balance certification
- Participation in the processing of regulatory documentation, balance certifications (auditors) and follow-up/correction of reference anomalies among others (other subjects may be added according to the wishes of the applicant, and after consultation with the service manager)
- Accompany the service agents in the change

- Graduate with a Master’s degree from a Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance/Banking/Projects/Organization

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Luxemburg is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
