Your role will be pivotal in driving our Facility Management initiatives to new heights. Responsibilities:
As the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the physical environment of our facilities at Sint-Niklaas locations. You will manage building services, maintenance schedules, safety compliance, and coordinate contractors. The role requires a hands-on approach to ensure all building systems and equipment operate efficiently, while adhering to regulatory and safety standards.
Your Key Responsibilities:

While you oversee day-to-day operations of the facilities, ensuring they meet the needs of the business, you also still love to be hands-on.

Develop and implement maintenance schedules for building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security.

Manage budgets related to facility operations, including maintenance and repair costs.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers.

Plan and execute facility improvements and renovations.

Handle emergency situations like equipment failures or power outages.

Liaise with internal departments to support operational efficiency and address facility needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facility management or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and relevant safety standards.

Proven ability to manage budgets and maintenance schedules.

Excellent communication both verbal and written in Dutch and English and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects at once.

People skills to coordinate the local facility resources (Facility Administrator and shared technician)

Experience with contractor management and project coordination.
