Under the leadership of a project manager or senior expert, you will be involved in multiple energy system consulting assignments. You will work on a multitude of technical topics, with a wide variety of clients and in multiple geographical regions.
Some Examples Of Our Work Include
Development of Energy Policy, Strategies and Planning Documents;
Generation, Transmission and Distribution Master Plan Development;
Variable Renewable Energy Integration Studies;
Power System Climate Vulnerability Studies;
Technico-Economic Feasibility of Grid and Renewable Assets.
You will be more particularly in charge of providing energy system advisory services :
Develop and provide technical expertise to our clients in reaching their energy access targets
Collect and structure data/information from various sources
Model energy systems in specialized tools and perform dedicated simulations
Produce convincing analyses and prepare visualizations, presentations and reports of study results, with a specific focus on technico-economic and electrification planning studies.
Qualifications - Do you tick all the boxes ?
We are looking for talented and motivated people to help us plan for the energy challenges of today and tomorrow.
You have a master’s degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
You have minimum 2 years of experience in the energy sector
You are passionate about energy systems planning and eager to develop and share your knowledge in this fieldYou are willing to travel internationally, including emerging and developing countries (data collection, presentation of results, provide training)
You speak and write English and French fluently
You demonstrate strong advisory skills: analytical mindset to identify client issues, creativity to lay out a set of assumptions to build adapted solutions, capacity to translate results of simulations into relevant advice and concrete actions
You can work independently, while having a strong team spirit
Affinity with and willingness to master relevant tools/Software, such as for example: QGIS, PVSyst, Plexos, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E, Python or Matlab
Experience With One Of The Following Is An Advantage
Rural electrification or distribution system planning
Renewable resource assessments (solar, wind, hydro, biomass) and site selection;
Utility scale or off-grid RE project design and development;
