We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager – Oncology (EU) to join our European team. This role will be heavily involves in the pre-launch activities in Europe that eventually could lead to overseeing a team of EU Product Managers, drive the oncology marketing agenda, and lead the successful launch and commercialization of Sun Pharma’s oncology portfolio across the EU.
Key Responsibilities
Develop the prelaunch plan and execution for the EU oncology business objectives.
Develop and implement a comprehensive EU marketing strategy for Sun Pharma’s oncology portfolio, ensuring effective budget allocation and brand execution.
Collaborate cross-functionally with medical, regulatory, market access, and later on the sales teams to drive a unified commercial strategy.
Lead the marketing efforts for the EU-wide launch of new oncology products, ensuring seamless execution across diverse markets.
Adapt global strategies to fit local market needs while maintaining alignment with overarching EU objectives.
Oversee the development of high-impact promotional materials that comply with regional regulatory requirements.
Design and execute both digital and traditional marketing campaigns to support brand growth and market penetration.
Drive the planning and execution of major industry events, including oncology congresses, symposiums, and Sun Pharma-led product meetings.
Ensure Sun Pharma’s presence at key events is strategically positioned to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders.
Represent Sun Pharma in external engagements, advocating for the company’s oncology portfolio and vision.
In the future: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of EU Product Managers, fostering a high-performance culture that encourages collaboration and innovation.
Market Insights & Competitive Analysis
Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs to inform decision-making.
Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to optimize product positioning and performance across the EU.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
5-7 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing teams.
Strong background in oncology or related therapeutic areas is required.
Proven track record in leading successful product launches across multiple European markets.
Deep understanding of the EU healthcare landscape, regulatory environment, and reimbursement systems.
Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
