Test Engineer

We are seeking a Test Engineer to validate and optimize mechatronics systems for automated packaging for a global leading company.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure machines meet design, performance, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for mechanical, electrical, and software systems
• Perform functional, integration, and acceptance testing of automation equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Document test results and recommend design improvements
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
• Experience testing industrial automation or packaging machinery
• Knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Beckhoff, Codesys) and industrial protocols (EtherCAT, Modbus)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English (required); Flemish/Dutch is a plus
