Summer Student General Labour

The Stratford facility is looking for four summer student employees that believe in hard work, have obtained a high school diploma/GED and will be returning to postsecondary school in the fall. If you feel that you have these attributes we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities include:

• Must be willing to learn and to perform necessary operations associated with the job class 3 position including operation in the areas of packaging, scrape and test, CD welder, and assembly
• Always perform tasks safely and efficiently
• Must be self-motivated to keep plant running efficiently
• Promote and perform housekeeping
• Abide by company rules and procedures
• Open to performing other duties as assigned by Supervisors

Requirements:

• Must have high school/ GED diploma
• Must be returning to postsecondary school in the fall. Proof of acceptance may be required.
• Must be able to work either one of our shifts:
• Day Shift (Monday to Friday 40hrs) or Afternoon shift (Monday to Thursday 40hrs)
• Overtime is mandatory for students throughout the summer
• Attention to detail
• Work safely
• Access to a vehicle is preferred

Salary: $20.48 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
