Pavement Marking Labourer

JOB DUTIES:

• Learn to operate pavement marking equipment such as hand painters, sweepers, milling machines, and paint truck equipment.
• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to the job site
• Lift, carry, load and unload construction items including pavement marking supplies, etc.
• Taking measurements, and recording information
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Class 5 license is mandatory as our shop is located in Rural Wetaskiwin.
• Clean driving abstract and at least 3 years driving experience.
• Strong desire to learn, and contribute.
• Get-it-done right attitude.
• Basic reading/writing ability to comply with road signs, complete paperwork, and knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to receive, understand, and communicate specific instructions
• Must be able to work out of town for long periods of time.
