Job Posting for Summer Position - Team Lead at ABC Head Start Society
As the ABC Head Start Team Lead, this temporary summer opportunity will allow you to play an integral role in supporting ABC Head Start’s mission and vision of raising families out of poverty and helping children harness their superpowers, conquer hardships, and live their best life while ensuring all children have equal access to a full and successful life.
Reporting to the Program Supervisor, this role will support the completion of leadership and administrative tasks for our Mill Woods Town Centre site through completion of:
Site staff support
Maintaining safe work environment
Absence management
Timesheet approval
Concerns escalation
other duties as required
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literacy
Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
High attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong analytical and time management skills
Additional Qualifications:
This position offered as part of the Canada Summer Jobs program and therefore to be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the Temporary position;
be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the Temporary position;
have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday 7 hours per day between hours of 9am - 4:30pm
8 week duration
Compensation:
$26 per hour
Anticipated Start Date:
June 17, 2024
