AZ owner operator dedicated Canada post switch

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Az owner operator to join our team for Canada post dedictaed switch from ottawa to toronto and back same day. 5 days work. start in 11:00 pm nights everyday

Duties:
- Safely operate trucks to transport goods to various locations from Ottawa to Toronto everyday for Canada post dedicated switch
- Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage or shifting during transit
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures
- Report defects, accidents, or violations

Experience:
- Proven experience as a truck driver
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)

Skills:
- Heavy equipment operation
- Commercial driving experience
- Experience in handling freight.
