Cabinet Maker/Finishing Line Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker and Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship, with the ability to create high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces. This role requires precision, creativity, and a strong understanding of various woodworking techniques and materials.

Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and dimensions for cabinets.
• Utilize hand tools and CNC machinery to cut, shape, and fabricate wood materials.
• Assemble cabinet components using appropriate techniques, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
• Perform installation of cabinets at client locations, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
• Apply caulking and finishing touches i.e. sandblasting to enhance the appearance of completed projects.
• Conduct construction estimating to provide accurate project timelines and material requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Good Communication skills.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar woodworking role is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings is essential.
• Familiarity with hand tools, CNC machinery, and woodworking techniques is required.
• Experience in installation processes and construction estimating is a plus.
• Ability to perform masonry tasks may be beneficial for certain projects.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
