Class 1 Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a kind, dedicated and skilled PART TIME Professional Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. The Professional Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellent service and reliability. Preferably Bilingual but this is not at all defining hiring point.

Lanes will be going to Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

Duties

• Operate trucks to transport freight across designated routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatcher and other team members regarding route changes or delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Perform very minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
• Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.t.
• Basic automotive repair skills for minor vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines (99% on time standard)
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and compliance with regulations.

Pay: $25.50-$26.45 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• Weekends only

Experience:

• Driving: 3 years (required)
