Arctic Lodges is located in north eastern Saskatchewan on Reindeer Lake. We are a world class trophy fly-in fishing resort offering our guests all inclusive packages. We are seeking an Assistant Lodge Manager who has a love the outdoors to join our outstanding team of service providers. Arctic Lodges accommodates up to 16-24 guests per stay. Our Assistant Lodge Manager is responsible for overseeing our day-to-day lodge operations along side the lodge owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with monitoring the guest experience in the lodge
- Providing direction, oversight, and guidance to the lodge team. Staff management skills is necessary
- Performing daily and weekly administrative duties
- Implementing and assisting with stock controls in all departments (receiving and stock counts)
- Manage dock operations, including equipment maintenance schedules
- Address maintenance issues promptly and coordinate repairs as needed with the maintenance and dock team
- Assist with barge runs and grocery deliveries, experience operating a boat with tiller motor is mandatory
This position requires some heavy lifting and the ability to be on your feet most of the day. The ideal candidate must be flexible and a multi tasker. It is best suited for those with a love for the outdoors with a sense of adventure.
Contract date: early May to late August/early September, start date may be negotiable
