Our 3rd Party Quality Managed Support Services are located all over North America. We are currently hiring for our Quality Inspector and Lineside Logistics hybrid position in Alliston Ont. We train associates to support material line side to prevent any interruptions in the assembly lines. Associates will be trained on different line side operations and will rotate between them. This position requires associates to be physically fit and capable to stand on their feet for long periods of time and requires someone who is able to bend and lift 40 lbs.
General Duties:
- Observes and obeys all Health & Safety Rules
- Observes and obeys all Company Rules
- Must be capable of performing all job duties and tasks in their assigned area.
- Must follow established processes for designated tasks using our operation standards.
- To take and follow direction from our qualified designated Management Staff
- To remain focused on the job in hand and to never disrupt the other co-workers from their job duties.
- To report to the designated Supervisor at the start and end of each shift – Sign In & Out
- For all operational issues to direct all questions through the designated Supervisor.
QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates within Corporate Guidelines of the Business Management System.
- Supports implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 Certification Programs.
- Supports problem resolution process for its implementation and effectiveness.
- Supports any continuous improvement initiatives.
- Rework Parts only when in accordance with the provided Work Instructions.
LOGISTICS RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the defined Logistics processes.
- Efficiently perform a minimum of 4 processes.
- Accurately pack and unpack material/parts with the correct labels.
- Maintain excellent service by following work instructions.
- Review and verify product details such as Part #, KD Lot#, etc.
- Assist in moving carts and dunnage to the assigned location.
- Assist other team members when needed to accomplish the requirements.
- Assist with lineside logistics by maintaining part levels and lot sequencing.
CENTRAL STORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Forklift deliveries throughout the plants.
- Computer Data Entry.
- Shipping & Receiving.
- Assist customers at the service desk.
- Picking orders for departments.
- Put away new parts in the inventory.
- Weekly Cycle counting.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Must be prepared to do any other general duties assigned by the designate
- Work various shifts when required
- Work daily overtime/weekends when required.
- Read, write and speak English
Health benefits are included after a three (3) month probationary period.
Starting Pay Rate $18.00 per hour and based on performance and attendance an increase after 3 months will be $18.50 per hour.
Hours of work - Straight days/straight afternoons/rotation
