Warehouse Associate with Counterbalance - Afternoon Shift

Avery HR is seeking a Warehouse Associate with a Counterbalance Forklift License, for a full-time opportunity in Brampton.

The successful candidate will not be on the forklift all day - expect it to be 50/50.

Pay rate: $21.00 per hour plus $1.00/hr. shift premium, temp-to-perm

Hours: 2:00pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Manually load and unload trucks.
• Move pallets to designated area.
• General warehouse duties as required.
• Relocate items within the warehouse or factory.
• Operate a forklift used for transporting or shipping materials.

Skills:

• Minimum two years experience operating a Counterbalance forklift.
• RF scanning experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good digital processing skills for inventory tracking.
• Detail oriented and organized, with excellent time management skills.
• Excellent problem-solver with the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements:

• Valid Forklift License - Counterbalance.
• Warehouse Experience Mandatory.
• Clear Background Check.
• Must have a stable work history, with at least two years at your most recent job.

Students are not eligible for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Counterbalance forklift: 2 years (required)
• Warehouse distribution: 2 years (required)
• manual order picking: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Work permit, PR card or citizenship (required)
• Counterbalance forklift license (required)
