Production Team Member

Black Fly Beverage Company is a fast-growing producer of spirit-based beverages and provider of value-added services to the beverage industry with a manufacturing plant in London, Ontario, sales teams and retail distribution throughout Canada. This position is at Black Fly’s London, Ontario plant and will be a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week. Working on weekends and at night will be required depending on the time of the year.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to a candidate who is detail driven and mechanically inclined. This candidate will work closely with our inventory management, logistics, and purchasing group to meet production goals on both our bottling and canning lines.

Candidates with previous consumer packaged goods, beer or spirits experience are especially sought after for this role.

Responsibilities

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: $22.00 per hour

• Follow GMP and Health and Safety Standards
• Become familiar with all machines/processes involved in our state-of-the-art production facility.
• Maintain a clean workstation and production environment
• Follow all production guidelines and specifications
• Monitor production line to maintain smooth operation
• Report any issues to Supervisor

Qualifications

• High school degree (at a minimum)
• Previous manufacturing experience an asset
• Experience in operating manufacturing machinery
• Able to work as a team
• Basic math skills
• Physical dexterity
• Available for rotating shift work
• Reliable attendance is crucial for these positions
