Freelance Seamstress/Tailor

Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented Seamstress/Tailor who can perform alterations, repairs, and custom tailoring for garments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sewing and garment construction, along with excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering top-notch craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Perform alterations and repairs on various types of garments, including pants, shirts, dresses, and jackets.
• Conduct fittings with customers to ensure accurate measurements and desired fit.
• Assist in custom tailoring projects, including creating patterns, sewing seams, and finishing details.
• Inspect garments for quality control and ensure that all work meets company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sewing machines, tools, and supplies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Seamstress/Tailor.
• Proficiency in operating sewing machines and other tailoring equipment.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques, fabrics, and sewing methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers.
• Flexibility to work on-call or depending on the workload.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Freelance

Salary: $15.30-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 8 per week
