Skilled Labourer

We are a small business located in "the heart of Ontario," Cannington. We work all over Durham and York Regions, and Simcoe County. Our growing business is looking for a highly motivated team-player to join our field team of skilled labourers and machine operators.

At Brock Excavation, versatility is key. The average day may consist of several tasks at multiple projects. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to show initiative, and will have demonstrated industriousness when in the field. Experience in the excavation or septic industry will be an asset in this position, along with a mechanical inclination. Duties include but are nto limited to:

• Hand digging
• Heavy equipment operation if qualified
• Grading and raking
• Septic system installation (conventional and advanced, training provided)
• General labour as needed

Working surrounded by many potential hazards means that communication is key. Among the successful candidate's experience will be a host of soft-skills such as communication, puntuality, conscientiousness and responsibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• industry: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• HEO or AZ license (preferred)
