Furniture Mover / Customer Service

A Burly Boyz team member achieves fulfillment through hard work and perseverance. They thrive in a financially rewarding and a generous tip-friendly environment with little to no experience in the industry required. The job is very straightforward and can be physically demanding with the requirement to lift and carry up to 80-100 lbs repetitively. Our trucks travel all across the province and into British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Traveling may be offered to you.

As a Furniture Mover, you will actively participate in all aspects of the moving process which will include,

• Padding and protecting the client's furniture.
• Packing the client's boxes.
• Disassembling and reassembling the client's furniture with basic hand tools.
• Furniture tagging and inventory list management.
• Loading / stacking items and furniture in the truck.
• Unloading of the truck and staging of the customer's home to their preference.
• Understanding our customer's requirements and execution of job duties and responsibilities above and beyond their expectations.
• Taking direction and guidance from your team leader.
• Utilizing our scheduling application (Jobber)

What We Offer:

• A starting wage of $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience in the moving industry
• A tip-friendly environment that will amount to an extra $2.00-4.00 an hour.
• Full benefits plan after 6 months.

• Advancement opportunity to a driver/team lead position which starts at $23.00/hr.
