We are currently recruiting for full time Packaging Associate at our Ancaster, Ontario facility.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure safe work conditions and practices as outlined in the company Safety, Health & Environmental policies.

Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for Good Production Practices (GPP).

Weigh and package products according to SOPs, ensuring accurate weights and record keeping.

Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.

Maintain an on-hand inventory of packaging supplies and ensure it is sufficient to meet the demand.

Clean and sanitize packaging rooms and equipment in compliance with SOPs.

Participate in Inventory Counts, as needed.

Understand and operate label software and printers.

Perform all duties according to SOP, GMP and all other established safety standards and company policy.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge with GPP and GMP is preferred.

Previous experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing packaging environment.

Interpersonal skills are required for daily interactions with shop floor personnel.

Manual functions require good hand / eye co-ordination.

Position requires standing, lifting and walking throughout the day.
WORKING CONDITIONS:

This is a greenhouse working environment, which may have continuous exposure to heat, light and humidity.

May be required to work on weekends and during holidays, from time to time.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday / 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.
At BZAM, we provide a competitive salary range that is based on your experience and expertise. The hourly range for this position is $18-$20 per hour.
