CWE Ltd. is seeking Hydrovac Operators for ongoing and upcoming work around the Fort Mcmurray region. The successful candidate will either have experience operating a hydrovac truck and be comfortable operating two brand new hydrovac trucks OR be an experienced class 3 driver who is interested in learning how to operate a hydro vac.
Note: The successful candidate, whether a Hydrovac Operator or Class 1/3 licence willing to learn will be offered pay at a competitive rate. We request that candidates commuting and local to the RMWB apply.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 with air endorsement
- Clean Driver's Abstract
-Pre hire Drug and Alcohol test
- Safety Tickets
- Familiar with safe work procedures and practices to safely operate the Hydrovac or willingness to learn
- Must demonstrate ability to maneuver truck in tight spaces with Labours assistance spotting
- Willing to do labour work and other tasks as needed
- Able to adapt to a change in a fast paced environment
-familiar with Suncor/Syncrude sites is a bonus
Specific Skills but not limited to:
- Operate Hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner
- Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for Hydrovac operation
- Ensure all Hydrovac truck equipment and components are in good working condition at all times
- Perform pre and post trip inspections
- Follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance
- Perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly
- Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including: utility line exposure, slot trenching, and soft digging
