P/T Sales Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service & sales, with the ability to engage customers and provide exceptional service. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, assisting customers with their needs, and promoting our products effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide personalized assistance.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential buyers.
• Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring efficient cashiering operations.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively communicate with customers.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance the overall customer experience.

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales or technology sales is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is preferred.
• Ability to conduct engaging product demos that highlight key features effectively.
• Technical sales knowledge is a plus, enabling you to assist customers with product specifications and recommendations.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service excellence.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
