Recreational Gymnastics Coach

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team at Can-Am Gymnastics Club. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics and a commitment to fostering a positive and encouraging environment for athletes of all ages and skill levels. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will play a crucial role in developing the skills, confidence, and discipline of our gymnasts while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.

Duties

• Educate athletes on proper gymnastics techniques, skills, and routines.
• Plan and implement engaging training sessions that cater to various skill levels.
• Provide constructive feedback to help athletes improve their performance.
• Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a clean and organized training environment.
• Monitor the progress of each gymnast and adjust training plans as necessary.
• Foster a supportive team atmosphere that encourages camaraderie among athletes.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for program development.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a gymnastics coach or in a related role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, rules, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A passion for working with children and young adults in a sports setting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 15 per week
