Eligibility: This position will be leveraged against a 6 month Eligibility for South Central Letter Processing Plant (SCLPP)
The Superintendent, Mail Processing is accountable for the safe and efficient management of the total mail processing operation in a Mail Processing Facility so that service commitments, safety requirements and productivity standards are met. The Superintendent provides guidance and leadership to a team of supervisors and employees spread across all shifts and is responsible for all activities related to management of the workforce. He/she works with Production Control and Reporting (PC&R) and other Operations Support groups to ensure that processing equipment is being operated in accordance with approved methods and standards; and leads implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to improve service, to reduce costs and accident potential. Acts as the “voice of the company”, sharing performance expectations, business updates and results regularly with team members.
