No train or railway experience?? No Problem!! As long as you’re a safety-conscious person who has at least some experience working in an outdoor, safety-critical, manual labour -type of workplace, then we want you! We provide all necessary training and certifications while on the job! See below for what else we can offer you.
Shift Information:
Days, 5:30am to 1:30pm.
Regular workweek is 40 hours per week, set schedule of Monday-Thursday, Saturday. (Friday and Sunday days off)
Who We Are Looking For:
Safety-conscious people with previous outdoor manual labour work experience
Candidates who are available to start ASAP.
What We Can Offer You:
Starting at $22.00/hour, increasing to $24.25/hour after 3 months
ALL safety gear and work gear is provided by the company

Position Requirements:
Previous experience in an industrial / outdoor or related work environment
Previous experience working in the railway industry is a strong asset, but notrequired
Excellent decision-making skills
Must be able to work as part of a team
Driver's license
Must have reliable transportation to work site
Must be able to pass railway industry safety testing and background check (paid for by company)
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and pull at least 50 lbs. repeatedly
Must be able to exercise good balance and three-point contact to regularly climb ladders up and into various levels of rail cars, and cross between bunched rail cars
Constant bending, kneeling and crouching required
Regular reaching with arms and fingers and overhead lifting required
Required to operate equipment inside rail cars, such as backpack blowers, shovels and brooms
Snow removal from inside rail cars during winter, as required
Must be comfortable with climbing, heights and partially-enclosed spaces
Standing/walking throughout shift
Must be able to hear well enough to be aware of track movement in rail yard and various communications devices
Work Environment:
All work takes place outdoors, within a live rail yard.
Required to spend extended periods of time outside in hot and cold temperatures
Work hours may vary depending on schedule requirements
Subject to dust, dirt and loud noises
