Club Descriptions

The Cardinal Golf Complex is our largest golf and event property and is home to three courses including Cardinal Golf Club, Kettle Creek Golf Club, and RedCrest Golf Club. While these clubs share the same property, they each have their own entrance and clubhouse. Cardinal Golf Club offers something for everyone including two unique 18-hole golf courses, large driving range with Top Tracer, mini-putt, beautiful indoor and outdoor event venues, as well as our classic grill & patio. Kettle Creek Golf is considered our 18-hole beginner course, offering a sweet, short, and simple course with quick and easy Food and Beverage options. Kettle Creek even offers Footgolf – a unique twist combining golf and soccer. RedCrest Golf Club is known as a hidden gem. Our semi-private club offers a challenging championship 18-hole layout, beautiful clubhouse, and a perfect setting for our finest events.

Job Description

As a Back Shop Attendant, you will act as a key member of the Golf Operations team. Reporting to the Director of Golf, you will be responsible for ensuring quick and efficient service while providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the Pro Shop Manager, Tournament Coordinator and Pro Shop Attendant team handling day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain power cart fleet

• Daily cart set-up

• Wash, clean, and general maintenance of power cart fleet

• Set-up of power carts for tournaments

• On-duty senior Back Shop employee responsible organizing and directing golf services staff regarding tournament operations

• Stocking of products such as water and other giveaways both on power carts and around the clubhouse area

• Assist with tournament conveners as needed

• Ensuring that all rental clubs are cleaned and accounted for after use

• Responsible for keeping the area around the clubhouse swept, free of garbage and generally neat during the day

• Monitor the locker rooms for cleanliness and supplies as needed

• Keep immediate workplace organized, clean and kept free of garbage

• Make sure all power carts are plugged in at the end of the night

• Clean and organize the pull carts as needed

• Clean up registration area after tournaments have vacated the area

Qualifications

• Driver’s license class G1

• Current or previous experience in golf services is an asset

• Strong customer service skills

• Well developed interpersonal skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Positive, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner

• Clean, neat, and well-groomed appearance

• Dependable and conscientious work habits

• Great attention to detail

• Ability to take charge in a busy environment

• Strong sense to make smart decisions routinely

• Light and heavy lifting required

• Work hours as scheduled

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
